Masuma spring bolt flange flexible pipes are designed to create a sealed yet flexible connection between components of the exhaust system — including catalytic converters, resonators, downpipes, and other muffler parts.
Installed either as a replacement for or in addition to the standard flex pipe, the spring flange features a movable design with integrated springs that absorb engine vibrations and protect the exhaust assembly from cracking or fatigue. A heat-resistant, conical sealing ring ensures a tight, leak-free fit.
These joints are exposed to intense thermal and vibrational loads, as well as harsh environmental conditions like road salt and sandblasting. As a result, they tend to burn through over time and often need replacement. Since most OEMs don’t offer exhaust flanges as standalone parts, Masuma provides universal stainless steel spring flanges in a range of popular diameters for effective muffler repairs.
Each Masuma kit includes everything needed for installation: galvanized bolts and hardware for corrosion resistance, plus a high-temperature conical seal ring.
