There's a reason why Tsunami Picnic has become one of Russia's best-loved automotive festivals. Bringing together thousands of enthusiasts, custom builds, drift cars, and performance projects every year, it's less about racing and more about celebrating car culture. Visitors spend the day exploring unique vehicles, chatting with owners, visiting partner booths, and simply enjoying the atmosphere.
This year, one of the busiest spots at the festival was the Masuma Brand Zone.
We decided that if people came to relax and have fun, our activities should match that spirit. Instead of a standard giveaway, we built an attraction that quickly became one of the highlights of the event.
The star of the show was our Prize Grab Challenge.
Participants climbed into a specially designed sling that was lowered into a giant box filled with prize packages. Once inside, they had only a few seconds to grab the gift they wanted before being lifted back out. The unusual game attracted crowds all day long. Some people laughed, others filmed videos, while plenty were already lining up for their own turn.
Of course, nobody left empty-handed. Visitors received Masuma merchandise, automotive care products, and plenty of other branded souvenirs.
Another popular attraction was our photo zone, where guests could also win prizes while capturing memories from the festival.
The evening was originally set to conclude with the spectacular Kiss the Wall drift sessions sponsored by Masuma. In this discipline, drivers slide their cars with the rear bumper passing just centimeters from a concrete wall. There is virtually no margin for error—it demands exceptional precision, experience, and total confidence behind the wheel.
But nature had prepared its own grand finale. Suddenly, the name Tsunami Picnic no longer felt like just a catchy title.
